Alberta bound...

My brother and his family are moving to Vermilion, AB. Jeff and I are moving the stuff. We've been moving stuff since Saturday, actually.

The truck we have is, well, "It's a truck" - the words of the managing partner of the rental firm (which shall remain nameless until all is said and done) when I took him to task over the myriad issues with the vehicle, specifically the numbing vibration and deafening noise (Jeff and I have to yell to be heard, and there is a four-foot gap between us). The pic is an example of one of the four tires that need to be replaced, though only this one was actually authorized by the company. The ride hasn't improved and it is just as noisy, but at least we have one good tire. One out of six ain't bad.

We're in Thunder Bay right now. I would dearly love to share some spectacular images, but the weather has been very foggy and rainy, and thanks to the happy-hippy shake, nearly impossible to take photos. And there has been no phone or web access since Blind River, where we got the tire, and I don't anticipate much service between here on to Kenora.

We're doing fine and having a good time. Updates later.
